This morning I fired up my email to find that I'd lost out on a bid for a rather large job. My bid came in the middle of three, but I lost out to the lower one. Bummer - I really wanted a crack at that job. Brings to mind, however, how important people are to my business.

The opportunity to bid on this job would not have happened if not for the owner of a home that I was photographing some months ago. She passed my card on with kind words, and I got a phone call. That's how it works best.

I truly value all those people that I do business with or come in contact with that value my work and me as a person. To everyone reading this that has ever shared my name, thank you.
